Verification items prove that a vulnerability exists in the environment as reported. These items can include screenshots, credentials, or code excerpts.
- Open a workspace.
- From the top menu, select .
- Click the project entry.
- Click the Workspaces tab.
- To switch the workspace, click the displayed workspace name, then select the workspace.
- From the finding tree, select an instance node and click the Verification Items tab.
- Select one of these options:
- To add a verification item, click Add Verification or click Drop, paste, or click to add a verification remediation item.Tip: You can also add verification items from a finding or asset node in the Instances tab.
- To modify a verification, click an entry to expand it.Note: You can't modify verification items included in scan results except to include or exclude from reports.
- To add a verification item, click Add Verification or click Drop, paste, or click to add a verification remediation item.
- Add verification information.
- If you don't want to include the item in a report, deselect Include in Report.
- Enter the name.
- Select the type of verification.
- In the Description field, enter or paste the verification information.
- For image or file verifications, drag and drop the file or click Drop or click to add an attachment to upload the file.
- Click Save.
