One of the most powerful features in Resolve is vulnerability correlation, which allows you to easily distill unique vulnerabilities in your environment from large data sets.

Resolve has a specially built correlation engine for normalizing data from external data sources, such as scanners and tools. Resolve associates these findings together by pointing to the same master finding, which provides the definition for the vulnerability. Correlation extends to manually found vulnerabilities, which can be tracked along with vulnerabilities imported to Resolve.

For instructions on how to correlate findings in the Workbench module, seeĀ Correlate a finding or change the associated variation.
