An asset is something where a vulnerability could be found, such as a web server, a source code file, or an IP address.

Every finding in Resolve is associated with an asset. Assets are created automatically when importing finding data.

For more information on Resolve handles asset correlation and uniqueness, see Correlating assets.

To view asset information and the list of findings associated with the asset:

  1. From the top menu, select Track > Assets.
  2. Click the asset entry.
  3. To expand or collapse an area, click the up and down arrows.
  4. To view details about an instance, click an instance entry from the Instances grid.
